I currently work on forecasting and agent evaluation at a startup in the CPG space, and before that spent time in insurance analytics — building dashboards and data pipelines that underwriting and pricing teams actually relied on day to day. Outside of work, I build the occasional side project when a problem is interesting enough to justify a weekend — the season predictor below is one of those.
Monte Carlo simulation of the season — 10,000 replays run from the current matchweek, projecting final points, title odds, and relegation risk per team, updated after every round.
